About this piece
Bolia makes sofas that are designed to last in every sense, structurally, aesthetically, and ethically. The Chleo, designed by Meike Harde, is the studio's answer to what a contemporary Scandinavian sofa should be: modular in spirit, clean in line, and built with a removable fabric cover system that makes long-term ownership genuinely practical.
The 2.5 Seater is a versatile configuration, wider than a standard two-seater but compact enough to work in apartments and smaller rooms. The solid wood frame sits on legs that leave visible clearance above the floor, keeping the sofa feeling light in a room despite its generous seat depth. The removable, washable covers can be laundered or replaced entirely if tastes change.
The Chleo's cushion proportions lean toward the deep and relaxed, this is a sofa you sink into rather than perch on, which makes it particularly well-suited to primary living rooms where the sofa does real daily work.
Available in Bolia's full upholstery range, making it adaptable from neutral linen to deeper woven tones.

- Maintenance Oil-finished wood should be re-oiled every 6–12 months using a food-safe wood oil. Avoid prolonged sun exposure — UV light fades natural stains and dries out the wood. Wipe spills immediately and never leave wet items on the surface.
- Cleaning Use a soft cloth lightly dampened with water or mild soapy water. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive pads, or bleach-based products, which damage the finish and void the warranty.
Poor or improper maintenance — including failure to re-oil, use of harsh chemicals, or prolonged moisture exposure — disqualifies the item from warranty coverage and return eligibility. Please follow the above guidelines to preserve your piece.
