About this piece
101 Copenhagen works in materials that carry history, stone, cast metal, concrete, and the Column Coffee Table is a study in what fibre concrete can do when it's treated as a sculptural medium rather than a structural one. The result is a narrow pedestal table that reads as monolithic while remaining genuinely functional.
Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl, the Column is hand-poured in fibre concrete and finished in a hand-painted coffee tone that gives the surface a layered, almost watercolour quality, each piece comes out slightly differently. At 9.8" in diameter and 19.7" tall, it occupies a very small footprint for its visual presence.
Fibre concrete is lighter than poured concrete while retaining its matte, earthy character, and the narrow column base means it's easy to position precisely in a room without it feeling heavy or blocky.
Best styled with objects that let the concrete breathe: a single ceramic vessel, a candle, or a book.

- Maintenance Oil-finished wood should be re-oiled every 6–12 months using a food-safe wood oil. Avoid prolonged sun exposure — UV light fades natural stains and dries out the wood. Wipe spills immediately and never leave wet items on the surface.
- Cleaning Use a soft cloth lightly dampened with water or mild soapy water. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive pads, or bleach-based products, which damage the finish and void the warranty.
Poor or improper maintenance — including failure to re-oil, use of harsh chemicals, or prolonged moisture exposure — disqualifies the item from warranty coverage and return eligibility. Please follow the above guidelines to preserve your piece.
