About this piece
Filling Spaces works in two distinct textile traditions, hand block-printing and hand weaving, and the Fez Pillow represents the woven side of the studio's output. Rather than a printed surface, the Fez is a garment-washed woven linen with a texture that comes from the weave structure itself: a slight ribbing or basketweave quality that gives the surface dimensional interest without any applied pattern.
The woven linen texture pairs naturally with the Filling Spaces block-printed pillows; mixing the two gives a sofa arrangement the kind of textile layering that reads as collected and considered rather than matched. The natural linen ground makes it versatile across linen-led Scandinavian rooms, warmer Mediterranean-influenced spaces, and minimal modern interiors equally well.

- Maintenance Oil-finished wood should be re-oiled every 6–12 months using a food-safe wood oil. Avoid prolonged sun exposure — UV light fades natural stains and dries out the wood. Wipe spills immediately and never leave wet items on the surface.
- Cleaning Use a soft cloth lightly dampened with water or mild soapy water. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive pads, or bleach-based products, which damage the finish and void the warranty.
Poor or improper maintenance — including failure to re-oil, use of harsh chemicals, or prolonged moisture exposure — disqualifies the item from warranty coverage and return eligibility. Please follow the above guidelines to preserve your piece.
