About this piece
Tall, slender, and quietly dramatic, the Gilt Pennant Mirror brings an old-world sense of ceremony to any corner. Its elongated silhouette rises to a canted, chapel-like crown and finishes in a sculpted chevron base, a shape that recalls heraldic banners and cathedral windows.
The deep, stepped frame is finished in warm antique gold with a softly worn patina. A fine beaded inner border, set against a dark accent line, frames the glass with the detail you’d expect from a much older piece.
Lean it on a console or sideboard as a statement object, or hang it in an entry or narrow wall where a standard mirror would feel ordinary. It pairs well with warm woods, slatted panelling, and modern pieces that need a touch of history.
- Maintenance Oil-finished wood should be re-oiled every 6–12 months using a food-safe wood oil. Avoid prolonged sun exposure — UV light fades natural stains and dries out the wood. Wipe spills immediately and never leave wet items on the surface.
- Cleaning Use a soft cloth lightly dampened with water or mild soapy water. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive pads, or bleach-based products, which damage the finish and void the warranty.
Poor or improper maintenance — including failure to re-oil, use of harsh chemicals, or prolonged moisture exposure — disqualifies the item from warranty coverage and return eligibility. Please follow the above guidelines to preserve your piece.
