Massin Vase Large

Abigail Ahern is a London-based interior designer and creative director who built her brand around one recurring idea: that interiors work best when they carry the weight and complexity of things that have aged, collected dust, and absorbed the atmosphere of the rooms they've lived in. Her product line applies that philosophy to objects, vases, lamps, and vessels that look as though they were found rather than bought new.

The Massin Vase Large is a handmade ceramic that does something genuinely difficult: it convincingly reads as raw wood. The wood-effect glaze is applied over the ceramic form in a way that captures the grain and tonal variation of weathered timber, the kind of surface that makes guests look twice before they believe it's ceramic at all. At H11.02" x Dia 9.65", it has a generous, rounded form that sits solidly on a surface.

It works particularly well as a standalone object without flowers, the material illusion is the point, though it holds dried stems well when volume is needed. The ceramic body is durable and water-tight for fresh stems with a liner.
