About this piece
Teak dining chairs with a tall, fully upholstered back and a distinctive compass-splayed front leg, a joinery detail closely associated with the Danish cabinetmakers of the 1960s who prized visible, sculptural construction over hidden fasteners. The seat and backrest are dressed in a soft oatmeal-toned fabric that lets the rosewood's dark, striated grain frame the piece rather than compete with it.
Slim without feeling fragile, the tapered rear legs and gently curved crest rail give the chair a quiet verticality that suits a round table particularly well. A refined choice for a dining set meant to be lived with daily, not just looked at.
