About this piece
An architectural coffee table built around a crossed trestle base — squared black lacquered beams interlock with rich, striped exotic wood (zebrawood grain), joined by visible dowel joinery for an exposed, almost puzzle-like construction. A clear glass top floats above the base, letting the woodwork read as sculpture rather than support. The contrast of matte black and warm figured wood grain gives it a grounded, gallery-like presence — equally at home anchoring a minimalist living room or adding textural weight to a warmer, layered space.
