About this piece
Amore is Kris Van Assche’s most personal object for Serax, a reinterpretation of his husband’s fragrance. Aromatic leather and pepper meet woody and citrus notes, composed in Grasse and hand-poured in soy-blend wax for about 20 hours of burn time. The candle is set in a sculptural concrete bonbonnière with a lid, a striking object in its own right. A sophisticated, gender-neutral holiday gift.

- Maintenance Oil-finished wood should be re-oiled every 6–12 months using a food-safe wood oil. Avoid prolonged sun exposure — UV light fades natural stains and dries out the wood. Wipe spills immediately and never leave wet items on the surface.
- Cleaning Use a soft cloth lightly dampened with water or mild soapy water. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive pads, or bleach-based products, which damage the finish and void the warranty.
Poor or improper maintenance — including failure to re-oil, use of harsh chemicals, or prolonged moisture exposure — disqualifies the item from warranty coverage and return eligibility. Please follow the above guidelines to preserve your piece.
