About this piece
Abigail Ahern's ceramic vases are designed to look as though they were made one at a time, which in practice means surfaces with subtle irregularities, glazes with tonal depth, and forms that carry a handmade quality even when produced in multiples. The Arcadia Vase brings this approach to a mid-scale format: at 7.5" tall, it sits between the small Marilla and the large Massin in the Ahern line, offering the presence of a display object without the commitment of a statement piece.
The ceramic body has Ahern's characteristic artisanal surface, a finish that sits somewhere between polished and raw, with enough texture to hold visual interest across the room. At this scale, it works equally well holding a single large stem, a small bunch of dried flowers, or nothing at all as a sculptural form on a shelf or console.
Its neutral material palette, ceramic in warm earth tones, makes it versatile across a wide range of interior palettes, from natural-fibre-led Scandinavian spaces to darker, more atmospheric rooms.

- Maintenance Oil-finished wood should be re-oiled every 6–12 months using a food-safe wood oil. Avoid prolonged sun exposure — UV light fades natural stains and dries out the wood. Wipe spills immediately and never leave wet items on the surface.
- Cleaning Use a soft cloth lightly dampened with water or mild soapy water. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive pads, or bleach-based products, which damage the finish and void the warranty.
Poor or improper maintenance — including failure to re-oil, use of harsh chemicals, or prolonged moisture exposure — disqualifies the item from warranty coverage and return eligibility. Please follow the above guidelines to preserve your piece.
