Bakku Vase

Introducing the Bakku Glass Vase Collection, a celebration of organic beauty inspired by Japanese aesthetics. The name ”Bakku,” meaning ”bag,” perfectly captures the essence of this unique vase, which features a shape reminiscent of a collapsing bag. Crafted to highlight the beauty of imperfections, each vase in the Bakku collection embraces fluidity and form, adding a touch of artistic elegance to any space.

Each Bakku vase is meticulously formed from mouth-blown glass, where the glass is heated to 1500 degrees before being shaped inside a custom mould. Air is then blown into the glass to achieve the iconic Bakku form. Afterward, it’s taken out of the mould and placed inside an oven for tempering, with the top opening cut even and polished. Finally, the vase is spray painted to achieve the signature Smoked Forest colour.
