About this piece
Cylinder Studio's Bouquet Vase No. 5 shares the same hand-built ceramic construction and 7.5" scale as its sibling No. 4, but the form speaks differently, a subtly different profile and rim geometry that makes the two pieces complementary rather than redundant when placed together. The studio produces each piece individually, which means the variation between the two is visible and intentional: objects made by the same hands but never identical.
The wide opening is designed for bouquet-style arrangements rather than single stems, it holds a small bunch of dried grasses, a few poppies, or a loose arrangement of seasonal cuttings in a way that feels natural rather than arranged. The ceramic surface has the studio's characteristic matte finish with slight textural variation across the body.
Pairing No. 4 and No. 5 creates an immediate conversational arrangement, two similar but distinct objects that reward the attention they attract. They also work independently on separate surfaces throughout a room as recurring material references that connect a space without matching it.

- Maintenance Oil-finished wood should be re-oiled every 6–12 months using a food-safe wood oil. Avoid prolonged sun exposure — UV light fades natural stains and dries out the wood. Wipe spills immediately and never leave wet items on the surface.
- Cleaning Use a soft cloth lightly dampened with water or mild soapy water. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive pads, or bleach-based products, which damage the finish and void the warranty.
Poor or improper maintenance — including failure to re-oil, use of harsh chemicals, or prolonged moisture exposure — disqualifies the item from warranty coverage and return eligibility. Please follow the above guidelines to preserve your piece.
