Crown Table Glass, Tall - Smoked Forest

101 Copenhagen brings the same sculptural ambition to glass that it applies to cast aluminium and concrete, treating material as the subject rather than the support. The Crown Table Glass is the result: a hand-blown glass form that functions as both a side table and an object with serious decorative weight.
Designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl, the Crown Tall in Smoked Forest is mouth-blown in a deep smoky green that reads almost black in shadow and becomes a transparent forest tone in direct light. At 17.7" in diameter and 19.68" tall, it's substantial, the glass wall is thick enough to feel solid underfoot without obscuring the depth of colour within.
The base and hardware are finished in coordinating metal, grounding the piece without competing with the drama of the glass itself. Because each one is hand-blown, there are subtle variations in form and tonal depth that make every table unique.
Exceptional in a corner beside a reading chair or used as a sculptural accent in a living room where the rest of the palette is pale or neutral.
