Bolia has been designing furniture from its Copenhagen studio since 2000, operating on a principle that considered design shouldn't require a gallery budget to access. The brand produces its pieces using FSC-certified wood and sustainable upholstery practices, working with a close network of designers to keep production values high without inflating retail prices disproportionately.
The Flor Bench by Martin Lauritsen is a solid FSC-certified wood bench with a gently upholstered seat, finished in natural tones that sit comfortably in almost any interior palette. At 55.12" long, it's substantial enough to anchor a hallway or sit at the foot of a bed as a full-length accent piece.
The seat upholstery is available in a range of Bolia fabrics, making it adaptable whether you're working in a neutral-led Scandinavian space or a room with more colour and texture. The solid wood legs are tapered and slightly angled, giving the bench a lightness that keeps it from reading as blocky despite its length.
Equally useful in a dining room as an extra seating option or positioned behind a sofa as a console alternative.

- Maintenance Oil-finished wood should be re-oiled every 6–12 months using a food-safe wood oil. Avoid prolonged sun exposure — UV light fades natural stains and dries out the wood. Wipe spills immediately and never leave wet items on the surface.
- Cleaning Use a soft cloth lightly dampened with water or mild soapy water. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive pads, or bleach-based products, which damage the finish and void the warranty.
Poor or improper maintenance — including failure to re-oil, use of harsh chemicals, or prolonged moisture exposure — disqualifies the item from warranty coverage and return eligibility. Please follow the above guidelines to preserve your piece.
