Meera Cardamom Pillow

Filling Spaces is a textile studio that works from the block-printing tradition of South Asian craft, a process where carved wooden blocks are hand-pressed into fabric one pattern at a time, producing textiles with the slight impression and ink variation that mechanical printing can't replicate. The studio produces its pillows in cotton-linen blends that carry the weight and texture needed to do the technique justice.

The Meera Cardamom Pillow is hand block-printed in a warm cardamom, a spiced yellow-green that reads as earthy and sophisticated rather than bright. The Meera pattern is geometric and rhythmic, the kind of repeat that holds together at a distance while revealing the precision of the block-printing craft up close. At 20"x20" with a zipper closure, it's a standard pillow size that works on sofas and beds without requiring special inserts.
