About this piece
Hans Olsen's 1955 design nicknamed The Orange takes its name from its rounded, hugging seat shell, set on a light three-legged wooden base in oiled oak, smoked oak, or black lacquered oak. Left in pure wood it has a spare, sculptural quality; upholstered on the seat, it turns soft and inviting without losing its compact, curved form. A small chair with an outsized personality, equally suited to a reading corner or a considered dining setting.

- Maintenance Oil-finished wood should be re-oiled every 6–12 months using a food-safe wood oil. Avoid prolonged sun exposure — UV light fades natural stains and dries out the wood. Wipe spills immediately and never leave wet items on the surface.
- Cleaning Use a soft cloth lightly dampened with water or mild soapy water. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive pads, or bleach-based products, which damage the finish and void the warranty.
Poor or improper maintenance — including failure to re-oil, use of harsh chemicals, or prolonged moisture exposure — disqualifies the item from warranty coverage and return eligibility. Please follow the above guidelines to preserve your piece.
